Ordering Accessories

We’ve made improvements to how you order accessories through the custom workflow. These changes are designed to streamline the experience, reduce delays, and give you better control over how menu inserts are included in your orders.

What’s New

Accessories are now split into separate formats for a more tailored ordering process:

  • A-Frames

  • Acrylic Stands

Each format has its own dedicated journey, including clearer steps for selecting specifications and adding menu insert requirements, just like the new process for Menu Books.

You’ll also notice that accessories no longer go through the Design Service stage selection. Instead, you'll be guided directly to either provide a design brief for inserts or move straight to reviewing your order.

Why the Change?

We’ve made these updates in response to common issues around accessory orders, including:

  • Fragmented or missing order details

  • Confusion over how to provide menu inserts

  • Unclear options during submission

The new flow makes it easier for you to give us the information we need from the start, improving accuracy and speeding up processing times.

How It Works

A-Frames

When you select the A-Frames format, you’ll see a clean and simplified layout:

  1. Choose the size of your A-Frame (with an 'Other' option if needed).

  2. Select your paper stock and lamination preferences.

  3. Specify your quantity.

After that, you’ll be asked about menu inserts:

  • If you select Yes – I need inserts printed, you’ll be taken to a dedicated screen to submit your design brief and upload any relevant files.

  • If you select No, you’ll be given three options:

    • Upload the menu insert file

    • Provide a confirmed hyble order ID

    • Confirm that you'll provide the insert details at a later stage

Acrylic Stands

The Acrylic Stands format follows a similar structure but includes a new format selection interface:

  1. First, choose the number of views required.

  2. Then, provide the size you need.

  3. As with A-Frames, you’ll move on to specify menu insert requirements.

The insert process is identical:

  • Select Yes to provide a brief and upload files immediately

  • Select No to supply the information through one of the alternative options

Just like with A-Frames, this route bypasses the Design Service stage, helping you move smoothly through the form.

What This Means for You

    • A simpler, more guided process for ordering A-Frames and Acrylic Stands

    • Clearer fields for product details and quantities

    • A consistent method for providing menu insert requirements

    • No unnecessary navigation – you’ll either provide a design brief or move directly to the review step

I don't want an A-Frame or Acrylic Stand!

If you're looking for something different, no problem; as before, you can simply select "Other Custom Item" at the bottom of the product selection, and tell us about what you would like to order.

Please note that even if you are not ordering menu inserts through hyble, for accessory orders we require a PDF or clear images of the inserts being used in the accessories so that we can calculate chargeback as per SGWS guidance. For more information, please see below.
